About Boys & Girls of Collin County
For more than five decades, Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County (BGCCC) has been a cornerstone of youth development in the community. Established in 1968, the organization now serves thousands of children and teens each year through branches in McKinney, Plano, Frisco, and school-based sites in Princeton. BGCCC’s mission is to enable all young people—especially those who need support the most—to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
BGCCC provides a comprehensive range of programs designed for youth ages 5–18. These programs focus on five key areas: Character & Leadership, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, Sports & Recreation, and The Arts. Offerings include homework assistance, STEM activities, financial literacy education, and substance-abuse prevention programs, along with team sports and creative outlets that foster confidence and social skills.
Each year, BGCCC delivers measurable results that transform lives. In 2024, the organization served more than 13,000 young people, provided more than 69,000 hours of homework support, and distributed over 119,000 meals and snacks. Members consistently achieve academic success, with 100% advancing to the next grade level. Many youth report that the Club has changed—or even saved—their lives, underscoring the vital role BGCCC plays in shaping brighter futures.
