2025 Event Recap
Day One

On May 1, 2025, guests embarked on an extraordinary culinary journey at the Masters of Taste, where the art of gastronomy was celebrated in an intimate setting for just 100 lucky attendees. This exclusive experience featured a symphony of flavors crafted by some of the finest tastemakers in the culinary world, perfectly paired with signature cocktails by Jason Asher of Juniper & Jigger Hospitality Co. The evening began with appetizers by Chef Joe Riojas of Trick Rider, followed by a second course from James Beard Award nominee Elizabeth Blau and Chef Kim Canteenwalla. The entrée was masterfully prepared by James Beard Award–nominated Chef Antonia Lofaso, and the night concluded with a decadent dessert course by “Chopped: Sweets” winner Chef Leen Nunn. An unplugged, acoustic performance by D. Vincent Williams, Dillon Dixon, and Emily Henline provided the perfect backdrop, creating a multisensory experience where every bite told a story, every sip was a celebration, and every moment felt like a masterpiece. It was a night to remember at Masters of Taste.
Day Two

On May 2, 2025, guests were treated to an unforgettable evening at Fork & Fire, an immersive indoor/outdoor culinary event that ignited the senses. The night featured open-flame cooking stations, complimentary cocktails, and an energetic live concert by D. Vincent Williams. World-renowned mixologist Jillian Vose of Hazel and Apple in Charleston, SC, crafted signature cocktails that perfectly complemented the evening’s bold flavors. Presented by Lexus, the event showcased culinary brilliance from award-winning Chef Stephanie Izard, the first female winner of Bravo’s Top Chef; Shota Nakajima, a standout from Iron Chef Gauntlet and Top Chef; and James Beard Award–winning Chef Kwame Onwuachi, owner of Manhattan’s acclaimed Tatiana. Every dish was a masterpiece, every cocktail a celebration, and every moment was filled with excitement. Fork & Fire delivered an evening to remember.
Day Three

On May 3, 2025, the SAVOR Celebrity Golf Invitational and Best of Texas event delivered a star-studded day of sport, flavor, and entertainment. Celebrities like Kurt Russell, Nischelle Turner, and Ross Butler teed off at Fields Ranch West, a stunning Beau Welling-designed course, while guests enjoyed premium swag and prizes including custom Lucchese boots. That evening, the celebration continued with a Texas-style culinary showcase featuring top chefs like John Tesar and Dean Fearing, craft cocktails by Tony Abou-Ganim, and a live performance by Midland. With cowboy boots, local flavors, and unforgettable moments, the day captured the spirit of Texas in full swing.
Day Four

On May 4, 2025, guests indulged in a vibrant and flavorful celebration at the Cinco de Mayo Brunch, a tribute to the bold and beloved traditions of Tex-Mex cuisine. Featuring some of the region’s top Tex-Mex chefs, the event showcased Latin flavors and authentic culinary techniques in a festive, high-energy setting. Attendees savored fusion dishes paired with handcrafted premium cocktails, presented by a powerhouse trio of master mixologists—Tony Abou-Ganim, Jillian Vose, and Jason Asher. The lively atmosphere was elevated by meandering mariachis and an upbeat DJ set, creating a dynamic soundtrack for the day. The culinary spotlight shone brightly on award-winning chef, TV personality, author, and philanthropist Aarón Sánchez, who was joined by Beau MacMillan and other standout regional chefs. It was a brunch to remember—spicy, saucy, and undeniably savory.
